Last time there was little rp going on on the rppvp servers

Well you EU servers sound quite different than US servers. ;p

In fact wow is very good, but it is in no way a "computer table rpg" like people dreamed long time ago.

Unhappily we can't dream anymore , mmorpgs are not sustainable without the casual...

I played WoW since 2005 classic and recent went on a big break. It was a big time of my life, when I was doing well and having fun in WoW I was also doing well in life. Classic and 90% of BC, I had a terrible PC and lagged when anything major happened like pvp or pve. I still had tons of fun, I chose to be a tank since they were sought after. Back then we would wipe around 20 times in a heroic like Shattered Halls but we still went on. Was my favorite because of heroics. After I got a good PC I started pvping and raiding and I was most active at the start of Wotlk and became a raid leader. We actually got through the content as they came in normal difficulty. Then the Cataclysm came out and everyone quit. My recent WoW binge was the 2nd half of Cata and 1st half of MoP. All I did was pvp and I have never touched Raid finder.

Now onto your question. WoW is a very easy game to go in and play and go out. In all my years of playing WoW I cannot say I was addicted to WoW but I can say I was addicted to slacking off and relaxing. There are definitely worse things you can do with your time like drinking or drugs. And WoW definitely saves a lot of money by taking all the time for itself you got less of a reason to buy console games. WoW nowadays is very new player friendly. Leveling up your first character will be really easy.

Tip: Buy retail WoW 60 day gamecards and never subscribe with credit card. That way you play for however long you want, and if you want to play more you have to go outside of your house and get another 60 day gamecard.

For me its (PvE only):

Wrath >>> MoP >> BC >>>> Cata

(Didn't play Vanilla)

Cata started great but Dragon Soul was a complete mess (plus wtf story)

Only big gripe for me in MoP was the gated Rep at the start (plus Golden Lotus dailies sucked)

Some of the story was a bit mishandled, but no where near the end of Cata levels

Yeah it had it's fun moments. If I had to rate them in a legit way.

BC=10/10 or 1000000000000/10

Classic 9.5/10

Wotlk 9/10

MoP 8/10

Cata 5/10

And I mean 8/10 as a B- which is still pretty good. It was fun to level through and pvp was fun. I cannot give a good opinion on pve.

Dungeons are a joke (briefly hard in start of Cata, but got nerfed).

Normal / Heroic raiding is still pretty epic.

i have high hopes for WoD to do just that. MoP right now is at the end of its expansion release. So it is actually a good time to level up to get some experience for WoD. Being max level at an expansion release is always fun and epic for those first few weeks. Of course WoW is an aging game, so keep that in mind.

Play Simcity 5. Apparently its a fully fledged MMO.
