And I mean 8/10 as a B- which is still pretty good. It was fun to level through and pvp was fun. I cannot give a good opinion on pve.

I feel like it's no use though. Will it ever be as epic for me as it was for my bro who played Classic and BC, and told me stories about organized raiding and Heroics?

i have high hopes for WoD to do just that. MoP right now is at the end of its expansion release. So it is actually a good time to level up to get some experience for WoD. Being max level at an expansion release is always fun and epic for those first few weeks. Of course WoW is an aging game, so keep that in mind.
