Hope it bombs.

Guys, the port is not bad at all considering the graph below. Granted we don't know where this games stands between High and Ultra but its a good start, minus the dips.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Dips will happen. The averages seem fine.

I'm guessing the XO's performance uncapped was way too erratic. If so, good decision to lock the top at 30fps.

it seems like there was poor optimization for the ps4 port, those rate vary so widely...

Agreed, 29.84 fps average is pretty good, better than many 30 fps games last gen anyway. I watched the video and the Xbox One version seemed quite smooth to me. Honestly I noticed more judder on the PS4 version, Nixxes probably should have locked the PS4's framerate too since they weren't able to achieve a smooth 60.

lol damage control here is strong

xbone is weak period! ps4 has and always will have the best version of all multis

30fps, another exclusive feature!

The definitive edition is NOT on the PC. People need to stop. Just watching the better lighting and the environmental effects on the consoles beats out the PC version (which is the version I played). That along with the other improvements like subsurface scattering of Lara's skin, the dynamic physics added to her gear and weapons all of which are absent on the PC is the difference maker.

Sure if/when this version shows up on a PC near you then yes, it would definitely run better with better hardware. But the disingenuous comments about the PC version being better or somehow more definitive are just blowing smoke.

I wonder what would happen if I say XBOX: SKYPE! at that precise instant the system is choking like this...Would it crash?

Watching the video, the PS4 seemed to stay above 40fps the majority of the time and generally hung out at around 45fps during gameplay.  There weren't many drops other than environmental set-pieces.  That's going to be perfectly acceptable for pretty much everyone playing on a console.  Most people won't even notice.  Those who would care likely have expensive video cards already.

Mmm, I like how you selectively choose the one segment where the PS4 version runs at a smooth 60, instead of most of the rest of the video where the PS4 version is in the 40's. When you have an unlocked frame rate the variance from frame to frame can cause visible judder, that's why things like v-sync and Nvidia's new G-sync are typically used.

ps4 runs most of the time at 60fps

watch for yourself
