I think he talked about reasonable and doable games. Exclusive COD or GTA are impossible to make IMO. GTA V took 5 years and R* won't take such high risks.

H did not talk about reason. He/she said what would it take and gave them two games. metriod/pokemon. I just gave him/her an answer on what it would take to give that console some life yet.

I doubt it's too late for the Wii U, the 3DS and the PS3 started off with as many struggles as many months into their lives. Both rebounded nicely, never say never.

Lore-driven multiplayer is pretty much the only way I can see Metroid online multiplayer ever being compelling. However, there is the temptation to design the game with multiplayer controls and balance in mind. :/ For all its faults, I will give Prime 2's multiplayer credit for actually staying true to the core combat mechanics of the series, and I'm happy that Retro ultimately did put single-player first and foremost.
