IMO I think if they reduce the size by making it Baby Ridley. If smash added some lore to a series I wouldn't mind anyway.

Ever heard of Dark Samus? 

It seems no one ever lists Dark Samus in their lists of SSB characters. If done right, she wouldn't be a pure clone. And it would be better than the 3 Star Fox clones anyway.

Come'on, none of these are comparable to Dark Samus. Well, don't know about Dark Pit, never played a Kid Icarus game(and a Paper Mario game actually). 

Well funny thing is those 3 are definitely top imo, but Dark Pit is a major character in Kid Icarus Uprising, even going so far as playing him in the story for a chapter. Paper Mario starred in 4 games, 2 of which can be considered one of the best rpg of all time.

Also as much as im glad he's not playable, Waluigi is >>>>>>>>>> Dark Pit/Dark Samus as he has a huge fanbase and is always considered to be in alot of top characters for the next ssb. Thats why when he was revealed as an assist trophy again it was hilarious seeing all the hate post (especially on miiverse >_<

Still, Dark Samus could be funny. She could shoot phazon at you and if you don't get rid of it in time, you're corrupted(meaning you'll be a CPU controlled puppet helping Dark Samus untill you get thrown off screen). =D

Oh, and I've watched many Paper Mario reviews, so I know what the franchise is about, just never played one. The Wii and 3DS version are kinda mediocre in terms of reviews, so I decided not to buy them. I hope Paper Mario is announced at E3 for Wii U and that it gets good reviews of course. But the developers are busy with Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei crossover I think, so not likely. 

Maybe an Alt costume instead? Paper Mario is a must buy! (the first 2)

If they also change the look of her attacks(shooting blue phazon instead of yellow-ish balls of energy) I'd be ok with that. Same attacks, but with a different look(instead of normal missile a phazon/hyper missile for example). I'd actually like Paper Mario as a real character by the way, much better than Toon Link. 

im surprised no one has said this,but i campaigned for ridley in a VERY different way on miiverse. have u played otherM?

make 'little birdie' a playable character, and have ridley be the final smash,
or have the final smash be morphing up to adolescent form, then another smas ball for ridley form.
or, give lb a move that makes him latch on to a character and performing the move enough times gives him the ability to 'morph up'. size would no longer be an issue (im thinking jiggelkirby) and really we'd still be getting ridley.

my only fear would be the character and moveset would be to gruesome for ssb.
for those citing the nes metroid; if thats ur basis for his appearance, then thats how he should look.... 8bit and all.
