Bought it day one. Love it wouldn't go back. Wish that sony was pushing it more. It's like they don't want it to do well.

Sadly, nothing would get me to get one in anyway. I'm not badly attached to any Sony IP that I would buy one. Even 3rd parties. They can make Final Fantasy 15-20 exclusive on it. I wouldn't care. I'm happy with my 3DS games. I should also say: I don't hate the system in anyway. Except those memory card prices. Seriously, SD cards should be the standard. But the PSVITA and the PSP are/were both redundant to me.

I am on the nothing camp, I don't have much available time and is getting all used up on my 2 home consoles and my 3DS and even that one is not getting too much use.

There was a time when the VitaTV caught my eye because the console has good games, but there is just not enough time to spend on any other gaming device, so it is not because is doomed, is not because is expensive, is not because it does not have games, is just simply because I will not have the time to enjoy it.

Had a Vita.
never going back.

To be honest, the only game I would buy is Persona 4 Golden. So far there is also Demon Gaze, that one looks interesting.

The one thing that would make me buy one right now is if they finalled hacked it to play PS Vita isos.

So i guess from your reply that vita isn't hacked yet? I don't know.

But imo hacking vita isnt the solution. Yes it will push some hardware, but if there is no software to support it, what then? Due to the low fanbase developers would ignore it completely if thier games were pirated. Check pc software sales and compare them with console software

There is no way to actually do that, that I have ever heard of.

Also this may be old but it shows that the PC market, at least for EA, isnt as piracy filled as some people suggest

"In going through the financial statistics that EA is released, it becomes evident that the PC gaming platform is becoming much more popular to the gaming audience. It has been revealed that the PC platform outperformed the PS3 and did not trail far behind the Xbox 360, in overall earnings for the company.

Already have one. psn plus was the reason

System seller would make me want a Vita.

I'm a grown man, I have no use for a handheld.

The only portable device I was interested in was a tablet and I already got one.

i have a ps vita all ready. i want to play Gravity Rush 2, and more Ys!

It'd be a tough sell, considering how my 3DS is satisfying my handheld needs, but I can see it happening. However, some of several requirements would likely have to be met.

  • A price cut for memory. Considering how big VIta games are and the large digital focus, I'd like either cheaper prices for memory cards or for bigger ones to be available at the same price. Whatever is easier.
  • A software shortage in other parts of my gaming life. The 3DS in particular could have few new games at some point, which would make justifying a Vita purchase much easier.
  • PS4 ports. I know, ports aren't system sellers, but if I only had to buy $200 of hardware to play Kingdom Hearts 3 rather than $400, that'd make buying a Vita a whole lot more alluring.
  • A new model. The current Vita is fine for all my needs, but I wouldn't mind getting a handheld with a damn good battery life.
  • Some great bundle.
  • A guarantee that the platform will be supported for years to come.

Not all of these factors are necessary, but depending on the circumstances, I may not be able to get a Vita even with all these factors. This is just some of what I'd like to see before buying one.
