I've had 1080p TVs since 2006. Currently 1080p 65" Samsung LED TV.
I upgrade every 2 to 3 years. Hope next time 4k OLED will be in my budget.
Have you seen this baby? http://www.sony.net/Products/4k-ultra-short-throw/

1080p Philips 37 inch. Bought it alongside the Ps3 in 2009(?) and they are both still working fine.
It's a 1080p Sony TV. I don't remember the price, but I remember getting it 2 years ago since the other TV I had, started to have problems and it was already old enough. Also, it's big like a Snorlax. I am not kidding.

Samsung 40" in my bedroom, which ich 720p. I bought it in 2006 to watch the FIFA world cup in Germany in HD. Coolest kid on the block back then! My Xbox 360 and my older BluRay player are connected to it, so I can stream AND watch movies on discs in the bedroom,
Samsung 46" in my living room, which is 1080p I bought it in 2009 I think. Xbox One and my Bose soundsystem is connected to it.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
