All i am saying is, is that most people commenting on this topic have not seen screenshots of both versions. Tell cji my PC rapes his aha. He got a good pc still, we were commenting to each other on the best hack settings to use to get the best looking graphics on skyrim

CGI's screenshots have proven what i already said. PS4 better colours. PC better everything else. I know you cannot render what is not prescent but the graphics that are around look better on the PC apart from the colouring. That is due to better lighting on the PS4 from what i can tell.

You can adjust constrast, colour saturation and vibrancy and such things in the AMD/nVidia driver control panels, so the point it moot.

But you can not add lighting effects. In motion especially the lighting of the PS4 version is much more pleasing/impressive. (Yes, I played the PC version)

Try out SweetFX.  (You can do more than this screenshot suggests below.)
Also try running it at something other than that god-aweful 1080P resolution.

Never say "Can't" when it comes to gaming, graphics and the PC, you wan't the "definitive" version? It's not on consoles. ;)

"The PS4 version of the game also has some fun with the DualShock 4's light bar, making it flicker red and orange when Lara holds a torch and causing it to flash white every time she shoots a gun."

Sounds awesome

Yep! And you can use voice commands to switch weapons, you can say things like gun, or bow and saying map pulls up the map. Also, voices play from the DS4 speaker and the sound of you stepping on twigs and such too.

lol I know those are just silly gimmicks, but it makes me much more interested in the game. I already own a PS3 copy though :(

PC is dead, confirmeee'd. ^,^

9.25/10 - Game Informer

The biggest draw of Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition is the improved graphics. They're simply stunning in perhaps the best-looking console game I've ever seen. Running smooth 1080p resolution, this new version adds an incredible level of detail to the newly modeled characters and lush environments. From Lara's uncannily realistic hair to the shimmer of water reflections on a cave wall, every inch of this game is visually striking. It's a tantalizing glimpse at the wonders that these new consoles have in store for us.

4.5/5 - US Gamer

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is an excellent port for PS4 and Xbox One, with some great graphical improvements. You can tell Crystal Dynamics pulled out all of the stops to make this the best version of Tomb Raider. If you've played it before, it may worth a rent. If you haven't, the Definitive Edition is great purchase that outclasses the PC edition. Unfortunately, the potential price gulf between this version and the PC version can make it a hard sell.

4.5/5 - Hardcore Gamer

Tomb Raider remains one of the better action games to have been released in the last twelve months, and it gives the next generation consoles some life in a rather dry time. This is without doubt the definitive console edition of Tomb Raider, but the completeness and subtle visual enhancements are not enough to warrant another playthrough. If you somehow missed the many opportunities to tryout Lara’s rebooted fiction, then the Definitive Edition offers a remedy for that.

9.1/10 - IGN

The upstep in visual detail from the older console versions is a nice bonus, but Tomb Raider didn’t need massaging. It’s the same well-realised action reboot for Lara Croft that came as such a pleasant surprise last year. It’s still well-written, sympathetic, exciting, beautiful, and just incredibly well-made.

3/5 - Escapist

Bottom Line: Tomb Raider is a terrific game, and the Definitive Edition is a gorgeous looking version of it. It's the same game it was in 2013, though, with no further improvements justifying its "definitive" status.
Recommendation: If you have a current-gen system and have never played Tomb Raider, this is a must-buy. If that's not you, then wait for this to become significantly cheaper.

I haven't played it yet and I doubt my pc can play it at anywhere near 30fps in 1080p. 1080p60 sounds a lot better. I didn't play it before because it was too soon after FC3 and didn't think it was worth $60, it still isn't worth $60. Maybe $30 with the 50% trade in guarantee, it's not a game I'll come back too. I was hoping they would add some more actual tombraiding to get me excited for the definitive edition. Tombraiding >>> throat stabbing.
