Forums - Sony - Rumor: PS4 Version of Final Fantasy XIV Being Adjusted Towards 60 FPS at 1080p

I really wish Square would get rid of the subscription fee but I might try it out anyways. Are PS4 gamers going to be able to play with their PC brethren?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Hope so, but I too doubt it.

Yes, the game is worth a sub for a few months, it's excellent.

Well, I hope that when graphics become more demanding and 1080p 60fps becomes impossible they stick to 1080p 30fps instead of sub 1080p and 60 fps.

Everyone knows the PS4s GPU is just lightly slower 7870HD. That's the exact same GPU I have in my PC and this thing eats up most games 1080p60 easy. Combined with console level optimizations I expect to see a lot of 1080p60 games on the system. Its really an impressive machine, I'm surprised they packed so much into such a small box. Coming from a PC gamer don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I don't know why I thought it was confirmed some time ago...

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Notice the keyboard, the mouse and the Vita all hooked to the PS4, thats how you squeese the maximum power of your console, conect every sort of peripheral on it lol.

The controler is also, pluged, Is there enouth USB imputs to do that?

Or is that a debug/dev machine?

OT: Well, may be Infamous will catch it up.

Probably a debug machine, the PS4 only ahs 2 USB ports, wich is my main complain about it, kinda sucks if I want to conect my VITA I cant have both controlers charging, if I want a keyboard in need to remove the USB thinguy of one controler etc, its not very pratical, but it was liek that for the PS3 as well.

Debug machine or use of a multi-USB hub.

I read XV =(

This is going to be a hit in japan =3

Plus planetside 2 and dc universe, MMOBOX ?

Graphics are incredible on XIV but the subscription is keeping me away, and at the same time i'm hoping it won't go f2p because it would mean another fail for SE

You know theres a cheaper sub price if you only want to have on character (and only someone a little crazy would want alts when you can have every class on the same character).

If you like it, you should support it. The P2P model is alot better than the F2P in the long term. It filters the bad croud and keeps a steady flow of new content coming for the game. F2P just gives you a droplet here and there and tries to charge for every little item in an intrusive manner.

Believe me, F2P is a really bad model. MMO's on that format are not worth playing.

Also, the ammount of content they are adding with each patch really justifies the fee you pay. Did you see patch 2.1?

Look here: http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/03843d6bf7ba69adc37d7955ff7af43f3c43828a

Housing, arena PvP with its own skills, dungeons, raids, rep factions, treasure hunting, new story quests, etc. Most massive patch i have ever seen in an MMO. I resubbed because of that. I dont like the GCD beeing so long, but i can deal with it, when theres so much to do and the game looks amazing.
