I really like Unity. I'm currently using it to make a game.
I haven't used game maker in a long time (6 years) but it was not very good back then. I can't really speak much to the newer versions
Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Are you allowed to sell games made in blender? I'm pretty sure the fact it's open source means you can't sell blender itself, soI'm not sure how that works.
OT: I've used game maker, unity, blender, unreal, and phyre. If you don't want to spend money or make money, unity is the best for most games. Pro costs around a thousand dollars but most of the features are in the free version. No need to upgrade if you're just starting out.

My new hope is project spark. I really do hope they they will allow creators to sell games. I will get premium edition if they have one.
I am new to game designing so I am curious to know from where should I start learning how to make video games can anyone help me with giving the name of tools software and what all knowledge is required.
Do I need to learn programming how much time does it takes to make a mobile game. Please reply anyone. Help needed any websites that teach game developing and designing please name them reply guys
I'm currently studying IT and hope to learn how to make my own games from scratch eventually. That is, code them myself. For that, even Notepad suffices, although you might want something fancier depending on your choice of programming language.

Things like project spark are great. They take a lot more time to use, but have a lower level of entry. I doubt they'll allow games to be sold but good luck.

I've never had the slightest desire to work on apps so I wouldn't know. Sorry.
