Forums - Nintendo - Watch Dogs Wii U cancellation makes me sad.

Since we aren't getting a GTA on the Wii U, I was very exited to get Watch Dogs for Wii U since it would have been the 'only open world' game on the system.

This article most likely says Ubisoft confirmed it:

Before you say: 'You buy a Wii U for the 3rd party games?

Yes and no.

I love the first party games, but 3rd party game can't be missed on a console either.

How do you think about the cancellation?

It would be nice to have atleast 1 Open Party 'shooting, racing' kidda game.

So Ubisoft officially said Watch Dogs was cancelled for wii U?, I didn't read in the offical site nor heard any comments from them. We have nothing to comment at the momment =/= the game was offically cancelled......

Most antecipated games: Mario Kart 8 and Warlords of Draenor.

The Wii U was getting plenty of 3rd party games and nobody supported them. Don't complain now about 3rd party companies quitting the console when the users clearly showed that they don't give a damn about those games.

I hope they put more effort and time in the PS4/Xbone version now since I think that is more important if they want to start a franchise and provide a lot of material for New Regency and Sony's upcoming Watch Dogs movie. They really can't afford to get bad feedback because of technical problems and perhaps lack of content.

Yes..Because what they  said clearly means that the WiiU version is dead in the water.

Would that make you... a sad panda?

I'm going to lock this for creating a false impression. You're really jumping to conclusions here.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

We already have a thread on this and no it's not cancelled.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

while I wouldnt say this is a system seller for wii u it does harm its image to a potential customers who previously had interest in the game.

Ubisoft not commenting isn't exactly confirming that the game is cancelled on Wii U. I personally would be pretty upset considering I've purchased every available Ubisoft game for the Wii U, though I'm in the minority on that one.

If they do cancel it wouldn't surprise me but I will definitely skip this game all together.
