I'll be vague, and say there will be more 1M+ selling titles on the Wii than on the 360. The PS3 obviously won't be even close before the second half of 09, if ever.

I say 37 at the most by the end of the year. A Toy's R Us Buy 2 Get One Free deal at the end of the year will put many titles over the million mark. Maybe Nintendo will introduce the Player's Choice this year for titles that sold over 500k.

Well, we have 19 at 1m now, so that gives us a good base.

I see nothing under 800,000 that I think will manage to get over the top by the end of this calendar year.

Of the games in the middle, Resident Evil UC, Pokemon, Sonic, and Lego Star Wars are likely to hit the top, and I'll give an outside chance to My Sims.

That puts the total at 24 before January 1, 2009.

Sure bets: Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, Animal Crossing Wii, Pro Evo Wii, Monster Hunter 3

If I am right on those sure bets, we get to 29. Let's say half of the others make it, that gets us to 34-35.

Toss in some sports titles (Madden, NCAA, etc) and maybe a movie based title or two (Iron Man, Indy 4, etc), and surely some more unnanounced titles (Nintendogs Wii, Red Steel 2, Kid Icarus, Carnival Games 2, etc) and I can easily see us over 40, but not by much as these games are likely to be late releases that won't have as much time to accumulate the totals.

Since coolestguyever claimed 43, and 68soul claimed 44, I'll stake a claim on 42.

on 19 right now with REUC, Lego Star Wars, Pokemon BR, S&SR, RRR2 gonna make it by the end of year. Add onto that Mario Kart and say 3 other Nintendo titles (i'm gonna go for Animal Crossing, Pikmin and I reckon Wii Music will get released for December in Japan and sell a million).

on top of that 28 My sims will get to 1 million as will Rock Band and new Guitar Hero Aerosmith then say another 5 out of titles like Boom Blox, Tiger Woods 08 NCAAA Football, Wii PES 2008, Okami, Project Rygar, MH3, FF4, new Factor 5 titles or even new Retro Studios title.

There's always a couple of unexpected hits (ie Lego Indiana Jones may just fly off the shelves as Lego Star Wars has done well) . I'm gonna go with 43 and to name the unexpected titles i'll say Red Steel 2 wil be one of them
