Forums - Politics - Warzone! Ukrainian anti-government protests.

There're massive anti-maidan protests over the Sothern and Eastern Ukraine. Donetsk has joined the fun of installing Russian flag on government buildings :D

Well, Donetsk Republic isn't smth unprecedent, even though short-lived.

Putin made a suggestion to Fed Council to sanction the use of military force on the territory of Ukraine: "...due to extraordinary situation bla-bla-blah... threat of life and security of Russian citizens and army personel located in Autonomus Republic of Crimea in accordance with international agreement bla-bla-blah..." -- that's nice of him that he has made official what's the accomplished fact now.

//Silly Putin, Obama doesn't even need Congress permision to use military force :D

Kharkov, Nikolaev, Mariupol - too. Odessa - will do the same shortly.

Couldn't keep up with the flow, Kharkov joining the fun...

Realisitcally all this do not matter much, but nice of them indeed.

Yeah, situation is moving forward very fast. I feel people might get disappointed that Russian flag installing on everything won't make them... bam... we're Russian citizens now. Oh, if that'd have been that easy.

Can't say I don't like what I'm seeing :D But realist in me says that's only the beginning.

More polite people in Balaklava are taking control of some military buildings:

Being polite is the necessity -- we're walking on a thin ice here, no need for more victims of this Ukrainian mess that it has claimed already.

So Russian "parlament" accepted the use of armed forces in Ukraine, not just Crimea. It won't be long untill Putin demands his "Sudatenland" for lebensraum.

Russia.

Well, at least he needs permission of the parliament, unlike, say, Obama.

They're "reacting" since yesterday, pretty much when operation has started in Crimea -- nobody got hurt since then thanks god.
