What's funny is that we don't have a release date for Destiny "yet". Imagine how many pre-orders it will have by the time we get to it's launch.

Because it's the most anticipated next gen title. If it's to be released in September then It'll have around 500k-750k pre-orders. That's remarkable given the fact that we won't be a year into the generation by time it gets released.

Finally. Destiny will play in 1080p ONLY on PlayStation 4.

The definitive AND most popular version of the game will be on PlayStation 4.

This matters all of a sudden because first time in history Playstation is bound to have the superior versions of third party games. You sure live upto your name.

This isn't the "first time" we've had superior versions of third party games. Besides, last gen PS3 had better versions of Battlefield 3, Final Fantasy XIII, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition (all dlc came on disk) etc.

Also what was the official stance of playstation fans for every other game than the ones you listed. That it simply doesn't matter or we can't see the difference. I am just reminding you that you are being hypocritical. Not like it would stop you for next couple of years.  ;)

Never said it wouldn't be big. But even with the possibly of being bigger than Titanfall, it will stay in the shadow of Halo, never touch Call of Duty and only dream of being close to Mario.

Destiny could easyily surpass halo eventually,........... ttianfall won;t touch those either, not sure what your point is.

Destiny will sell around 6-10 million on PS4 alone. No doubt about it. Add the Xbox One, PS3 and 360 sales and you're looking at a total lifetime sales of 15-20 million bud.

That's over 25% of the Halo franchise's lifetime sales. Lol.

Yyyyyup, 56 million from a franchise spanning only a decade from just 2 generations of Xbox. That's all. BTW Halo isn't done yet, one of em comes right after Destiny. Didn't realize there were THAT many fps fans on PS4.

No hypocrisy here. The difference in the multi plats for PS3 and 360 were indeed minimal.

However, the differences for multi plats on PS4 and Xbox One are substantial. We're talking TWICE the amount of polygons on screen. Not to mention the superior frame rate.

The truth isn't out there. It's here. : D

I don't see anyone hyped up for Halo 5. In fact, when it was announced last year majority of Xbox fans were like, "Awwwww really?!?". Lol.

Destiny will not only outsell Halo 5. It'll win the best FPS in the GOTY awards. Overall GOTY? I'm not sure. It's hype comes from it's ambition. That ambition is grounded on the reputation of it's developer.

Bungie are the Naughty Dog of the FPS genre. They'll deliver the first PROPER FPS next gen game.

Still. I find these numbers way too good to be true.  Besides, VGChartz is known for overtracking JRPGs.

And that may still be the case.  But I'm absolutely certain the demo has had a large effect on pre-orders compared to what it would have received without it.  Whether that's accurately reflected in the pre-order charts, who knows.

Really? You don't see hype for Halo 5? The ONLY thing I hear from every Xbox fan is that they can't wait for Halo 5, and the people that don't have an Xbox One saying they'll get one for Halo 5.
