Pretty sure the 360 will have a price cut around E3 p,us with it's ongoing 3rd party support including AAA games e.g. Titanfall it is hard to see WiiU passing it.

Really? 360 sold 5.8m last year and was down 45% from the previous year. If it has a similar drop this year it will sell 3.2m. A price cut is likely but at this point in its life how much will that affect sales? Its been at its current price for like 5 years and every holiday there are huge discounts, if somebody really wanted a 360 they would have gotten one by now. Also 360 had GTA last year and 360 sales were down 45% for the year, theres no way TitanFall is going to push a ton of consoles. 

Best case scenario, 360 sells 4m this year and considering Wii U sold 3.2m last year and has a much better line up this year, I have a hard time believing Wii U sells under that.

I think  it will happen. The WiiU is finally getting  very important games this year and marketing should get better as well.

it should. WiiU should have a relatively healthy Q3/Q4 this year. Mario Kart and Smash Bros are arguably Nintenfo's two staple franchises which should push WiiU to knew heights.

X360 is also beyond its time and with XBO growing people will move onto XBO rather than X360. X360 will act more of the cheap console that people will buy because it is cheap. But really how many more people will buy a X360? My guess is little. 80m for X360 was an achievement but it is hard to say it has enough life in it to make it much further.

Meanwhile WiiU is expected to go much further. So i agree with you that it isnt really a bold prediction. If the WiiU happens to not outsell the X360 which is turning 9 years old this year, then all the doom that people shouts will pretty much be confirmed.
