A lot of people are saying that Xbox One sales are bad in Europe because it's only released in 13 european countries? Can we not check the % of sales that these countries usually contribute to the total sales for Europe and extrapolate the sales for the other countries?

I would imagine that its not that much?

Just looking at the PS4 sales in Europe - UK, Germany and France already account for more than half of its sales.

These countries accounts for ~75% of the sales from Europe + Rest of the World for 360.

back to 30k for the wii u in the upcoming weeks. Mario gave the Wii U little momentumt to sustain good sales plus the launch of the new console stole the limelight. lmfao

You have to wonder if Sony is ever going to drop the hammer on SCEA for their impossibly bad performance with the Vita compared to the other regions.

Then again, maybe they've truly got their hands tied that tightly with the PS4 given it's the competitor in North America and all that.

Didn't expect the PS4 to outsell the 3DS at pretty much any point this year, have to say I'm pretty fucking shocked right now. Wii U drop doesn't surprise in the slightest, was expecting 50k on the dot... But 360 does. Bet Pachter was right about that talk of a price drop next month after all.

I am quite surprised too.

I assumed PS4 would eventually outsell 3DS but with Japan and not while being outsold everywhere.

Again, unnoticed, PS3 is doing really great. PS3 neck in neck with Wii U in Japan for instance shows great lets for PS3, also seen in the software charts.

The PS4 isn't sold out everywhere though, only in North America is it sold out.

here the total and not just the 30 top:

X360 663,088 (-42%) 480,939,455
PS3 493,651 (-40%) 304,782,284
Wii 254,112 (-39%) 439,826,651
XOne 174,786 (-38%) 4,998,182
3DS 174,335 (-43%) 38,668,030
DS 149,757 (-43%) 340,318,316
PS4 135,200 (-32%) 4,350,533
WiiU 126,888 (-28%) 9,000,311
PC 59,367 (-41%) N/A
PSV 32,748 (-44%) 6,095,962
PSP 27,480 (-43%) 96,357,751

Microsoft seems to be doing well with software sales for the XBox One (at least better than I expected).

Nope.

Try to find it in Europe... US still is receving supply while some EU countries the estimate is to March/April.

Amazon UK seems to sure have a lot of PS4s in stock, unless I'm seeing something wrong.

Wii U is heading back to where it was for most of last year it seems. I had hope it would stay around the 75K mark but that was asking far too much.

Xbone selling 25K in the European markets that matters most is not so good.

Has Vita now become in America what the xbox is in Japan?

If those queues are anything to go by PS4 is going to have bumper sales next week in the US, depending on shipment.

Vita is doing awfull because the lack of big 3rd party game ,xbox is doing awfull in Japan because it's an xbox so no.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

No stock.

They are selling the consoles they will receive in January 30, 2014.

It is like a preorder.

And if X1 would have been released in the rest of the countries in Europe, the numbers would be quite different.

Oh yes, pity all those "rest-Europeans" who sit in their kitchens having no chance to get an XBox One....

Maybe we should invent something? Hey, I've just got a brilliant idea!

Like a place in the web where all those rest-Europeans could log in and simply order an XBox One! I'm thinking a good name for such a place would help, too. Like a big river .. or those Greek warrior women we read about in school (?)

I'm still working on the idea... Meanwhile, as your argument clearly proves, all those rest-Europeans are still waiting and waiting...

Pretty bad drop for Wii U. Maybe Wii Fit U could help save things, but Nintendo seems to have given up on advertising any of their casual titles, so probably not.

I think the Wii U is being undertracked by a decent amount because Wii Fit U was released Jan 10 in the USA on retail. That had to push the Wii U sales above 70k.

or maybe people dont give a crap about WIi fit anymore

I hope the Wii____ series is dead. Then Nintendo can get those developers working on better games.

oh im sure its pretty much dead

Until you realise wii party U is at 1m.

How much of that is because its force bundled with every Wii U in Japan over the holidays? Wii Party U is a dissapointment in North America and Europe.

People who bought the wii party U bundle in Japan obviously wanted wii party U or else they had the NSMBU bundle as well. Also, it debuted at 7.6k FW in NA and is now at 160k+. Not that many games can do that and that obviously proves that it's legs are indeed going to be strong. It's going to be the exact same thing for wii fit U.

Obviously, I'm not expecting them to be 10m sellers. I still expect them to do relatively good considering how many wiiU's are in people homes.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M
