I'm enjoying it a lot. Why they shouldn't have released the console? the hardware has a good future despite being outsold by 3ds. I guess that's the same you think about wii u/ps4...

Its not about being outsold, its about the lack of any real big budget games... It had great games the first year and after that, it just went down with little support by comparasion... As much as I love indie games and ports, I, as well as many people, bought the system with the promise of it having big budget games... If this is really how little Sony is gonna support it, they shouldn't have never made it... If you and others like it, that is fine and more power to you but when I spend $250 on a console/handheld, I expect continued big budget support through out the years similar to the 3ds...

The main difference between the Vita and the wiiU is that Nintendo have annouced big titles coming for it which is the very reason why I bought a wiiU and same goes for the ps4 with the announcements... The vita by comparasion has basically nothing going for it... It could change in the future and I will take back anything bad I said if that happens but atm, it is a big dissappointment in my eyes... If the vita had continuous must have titles coming out for it that aren't just targetted towards niche group but its still not selling, then I would have said something differently... First year was great, better than the 3ds imo, after that, its all downhill for whatever reason... This is just my opinion

I am happy with PS Vita, and think the 2011/2012 release was perfectly fine.

As good as it would be to see Vita doing better, as long as Sony is making money on it, I am glad it's here. There is no better system for playing games on the go, and I think for that reason alone a Sony handheld should always exist.

Hopefully in the future we will still see another Sony handheld that is sell sufficient at streaming games from PS Now and PS4/5 on the go. I am willing to pay a profitable price for a great piece of handheld gamingware. The addition of cellular capabilities would also be nice.

 You know, at least Wii U is getting all those system sellers like Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros 4, Zelda U and Donkey Kong.. The PS  Vita is not even getting  a God of War game or a GTA game.. Most of the people   had PSPs just to play those games on the go.

Who knows man. On one hand releasing asap makes sense since smartphone gaming is rapidly growing. On the other hand releasing later and staying clear of that war could also make sense.

Really though the best thing for Sony would have been if the 3DS didn't get a price cut. I think launching in the summer of 2011 could have done a lot of damage assuming the software was ready. I'll go with that.
