Forums - Nintendo - Which Nintendo IP would Nintendo most likely revive?

I think that Star Fox and F-Zero with many multiplayer options are a must for the wii u. Star fox could have flight missions only for single player and have multiplayer similar to star fox assault except with online. F-Zero GX was an excellent game and the only way I see an F-Zero game improving after that is adding online features (like 30 player races and leaderboards). Ice Climbers would be really cool too, but I think it would it be a better fit on the 3ds with the same treatment that kid icarus got. Metroid is a given, and is inevitably coming to the wii u, its just a matter of time ( I do think Retro should develop the next one though to avoid another Other M situation).

This ^, I would love to see a F-Zero game with online option, also Star Fox too...just epic

Most antecipated games: Mario Kart 8 and Warlords of Draenor.

Star Fox. Maybe Wave Race or Pokemon Snap (I mean, c'mon...the Wii U Gamepad is BUILT for that game!).

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

haha yeah it would be awesome but I feel that with the recent trademark Poketouch they could be making a Pokemon "pet simulator" for WiiU eShop and I dont see much pokemon coming to WiiU aside from the usual not as good as Stadium, Stadium game. Which even that game is useless now that X&Y are in 3D.

Idk, but I'd certainly like to see another traditional Starfox game regardless of their situation! Should add a poll to this thread btw!

From a sales POV a well done Star Fox with some epic space battles and a fun story would probably do reasonably well for them.

I would love to see Metroid go back to it's roots. 2D gameplay and no Metroid Other M bullshit.

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

Bring. Back. Metroid.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I want a new Metroid .

They are greenlighting Chibi Robo and Fossil Fighter games...yet we haven´t seen jack shit of Metroid since Other M .

Give it the "A Link between worlds" treatment on the 3DS, I´d buy the shit out of that !

...or a handheld Prime game....

Not real sure why people keep saying Metroid. We've had a steady flow of Metroid games, 2 per last 2 consoles, so I don't understand how it would be "revived". I'm pretty sure at this point it's a given that we'll see a Metroid-u. My picks for a revived title would have to be star fox (as long as it's a co-op 3rd person shooter with vehicular elements), ice climbers (3rd person adventure co-op optional), or eternal darkness. I want to say Nintendo bought the fatal frame franchise as well, so that would be an outstanding surprise as well as a good fit for the wii-u.
