They don't need to watch the video. Companies with $5 billion of cash on hand and $ 5 billion of additional assets don't go bankrupt.
Nintendo lost a third of a billion dollars this year. At the same rate of loss they would last 15 years just with the cash they have on hand before going bankrupt.
Sony lowered their profit forecast for the year by 40% already and that was with full knowledge that the PS4 was coming and would be selling well.
Nintendo is worth over $20 billion dollars. Where does Sony find the money to buy them?
IF the video wasn't a Joke, Sony right now wouldn't be able to buy Ninty, unless they wanted to be sell out... Sony may be broke but depending on the price they could take the money to do so...
Would love to play some of their games without needing to buy a HW just for that (I have Ninty HW for 1st parties).

I tend to agree with you that if Sony were to go under someone would buy the PS division in the same way someone would buy Sony pictures or Music if the company went bankrupty. Actually one of the points in that video was about the fact journalists would report news about Sony potentially going bankrupty because their rabid fan base and how they would react to that because of the utter delusionl they are often in about the state of Sony at present.
