I tend to agree with you that if Sony were to go under someone would buy the PS division in the same way someone would buy Sony pictures or Music if the company went bankrupty. Actually one of the points in that video was about the fact journalists would report news about Sony potentially going bankrupty because their rabid fan base and how they would react to that because of the utter delusionl they are often in about the state of Sony at present.
