If there is a publisher willing to lose good buck then why not.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with all the previous replies. The game is criminally undersold, and the budget is definitely a decent budget, so the game wasn't cheap to develop... Having said that, I DO think people need to buy it! It's $30 in a lot of places, people should be lapping it up like hot fudge! Wonderful 101 gets so addicting once you get passed Operation 003!!!
Well, the assets and the engine optimisation are already made. A sequal would have significantly less production costs.
I could see it happening if Nintendo keeps on having a nice relationship with Platinum. W101 didnt sell much, but it received good reviews.
To be honest... is there even any statement about the game's development costs? We are assuming much here.
Given that Nintendo pretty much sent out the game to die, I don't see what interest they'd have in funding a sequel.
Maybe another publisher would pick it up, but given 140k first year sales I find that pretty unlikely.

I saw it at Walmart on my way through to buy supplies (yes, I'm a peasant that shops at Walmart!)... I also saw it online for $30, but I don't remember where...
Edit: Sorry, new to the forum, forgot to quote the guy above me, lol
