Oh dear, I can see the higher ups at Nintendo looking at the poll results and somehow coming to the conclusion we want Custom Robo 2: The Snowboarding Saga.
For the record I voted Star Fox. But I really want F-zero too.

I honestly think I am the only person in the world who enjoyed Star Fox Assualt on the GameCube haha. For me it is a two way tie between Star Fox and F-Zero. They are both IP's that have established fan bases and it's so strange how we didn't see them last generation on the Wii. I hope we see them on the Wii U though. I would buy them day one!
of the ones listed? starfox as a 3rd person shooter/adventure. But i'd love it if Nintendo made a new epic adventure game for kid Icarus or ice climbers.

This. 2D Metroid games from Nintendo are almost always good. I didn't really like Metroid 2 much, but the rest of them are really good.
Personally, I'd like to see a new Pro Wrestling game - The Amazon is one of Nintendo's most badass characters ever.
I'm just going to blabber out loud. I know Nintendo doesn't make all these, but when I think of their system these games come to my mind for their specific genre. Here goes!
Action/Fighting = SSBWiiU/Bayonetta/Hyrule Warriors/Batman Series/Injustice
Monster Hunter Wii U is somewhere in between these styles/genres
RTS/JRPG/S-TRPG = Pikmin3/"X" & Child of Light / SMT X Fire Emblem
Platformers = SM3DW/Sonic LW/Rayman/DCKTF/Yoshi's Yarn
Shooters= ??????????????
Survival Horror = Zombi U (Launch title)/RE Revelations
Open World = Lego City/Marvel Super Heros/Watchdogs/AC series
Racing = Sonic All Stars/MK8/Project CARS
IMHO they most likely don't need an F-Zero at this time to take away sales from MK8, Open World games will be fine but a new Zelda in 2015 will be sorely needed by then, Survival Horror? Who knows when there will be another even available..., Shooters? lol! Peek a boo! Hide n seek? I dunno...definitly need to get a working on a Starfox. Platformers yeah they'll need one but maybe not that soon with DKCTF and Yoshi's Yarn this year. Maybe throw together a sequel in 2015 think SM3DW2. I think they have RPG/Strategy covered for now, but by mid 2015 they need another or 2 in development imho (maybe not, maybe some DLC to SMT/FE can tide people over and a X sequel announced in 2015). As far as fighting maybe just crank out some DLC for Smash Bros. and add some new characters and fix what the fans don't like in the balancing/add costumes and charge a ton next year or before christmas 2014, for it lolz.
The more I think about Nintendos lack of a fan favorite survival horror title on the horizon. I think Nintendo should step out of their comfort zone a little, and do a LoZ/Majora Mask/Survival Horrish presentation/Darker Zelda setting kind of like how LoZALttP began with the rain and thunder and dark skys in Hyrule but make the whole game dark like that/DARK soundtrack too! with some Metal Gear inspired tactic style sneaking around but use the bow and boomerang/ throw bombs etc. there's a lot of gaming play styles that can be done in a LoZ title hybrid like that. Just do some risky shit and innovate Zelda up for us older fans. I'm tired of the beachy happy go lucky Link sunday morning cartoon stuff already! I think if they allowed themselves to get excited by those darker/stealth game play ideas they could draw in A LOT of gamers on the fence about the Wii U platform, and crank out a Zelda game of the Year contender for 2015.
Yes another Starfox game is most likely needed because of the lack of shooters on Wii U, and get some talented artists+graphics/lighting going on. I was never a Starfox fan so I don't know what that series needs, but if done very well I can see it selling good numbers and adding to a better gaming portfolio that the Wii U needs to have come 2015. That genre area is doing very badly today for the Wii U imho.
I just see a hard road ahead of Nintendo with the lack of FPS and Sports franchises in the US/EU territories because even though Japanese gamers could give a crap about those genre's they are basically some of the most critical backbone style games of US/EU gamers for the last 5 years. I mean maybe they need to make a Super Mario NFL Football game and a World Cup game and a Mario Baseball Super Sluggers to fill out some sports games, because they're bleeding out of their extremities when it comes to sports games on the Wii U..I dunno. They should have never cold shouldered 3rd partys like that for FPS & Sports titles imho...oh well live and learn and INNOVATE. Metroid FPS shooter? Make it happen Nintendo! Who cares, take risks! YOU'RE PLAYING IT SO SAFE and BORING I CAN BARELY WATCH ANY LONGER!

I dont even need dormant franchises to return (unless they had Rare's IPs). I just need some damn execution on their games. Mario Tennis, Paper Mario and Mario Party on 3DS were all let downs imo. Mario Golf will most likely follow.
Btw off topic but who owns the Bomberman IP right now?? I really want a new Bomberman game like the ones on the 64.
