Anyway, there will always be those who troll whatever game wins the lion's share of the GOTY awards. Yet for 2013, the biggest GOTY meltdowns I've seen revolved around Zelda (GameSpot) and Mario (Eurogamer). Hmm.

Addressing the OP, I try not to compare the gameplay of a game I've never played. Almost any other aspect of a game, however, seems completely open to comparison. You can thank YouTube for that.

As for how I feel about The Last of Us without having played it: I respect Naughty Dog and have gone to great lengths to avoid TLOU spoilers, so that if I do decide to play through it, I would judge it fairly and my experience would not have been preemptively compromised. And since I've avoided spoilers, I don't have much of an opinion about the plot, except that it shares some pivitol themes with The Walking Dead and The Road. I happen to like both those things, so it's no problem.

People bs all the time, sometimes I reckon they just watch a youtube video or read someone elses opinions on games and make it their own. One I laugh at alot is were I see people say The Last Of Us is a movie, truly halirious.

I have more problems with people claiming game X is gonna be better then game Y when both aren't on the market yet...

To be honest you dot need to play every single game to know you aint going to like it.

For instance, I know 100% for a fact that i will not like minecraft. Does that mean i need to play the game to say i aint going to like it?

Another example is if a game is a fps, the chaces are that i am more then likely not going to like it. Do I did not like mass effect at all. Does that mean i have to play no2 and 3 to say they are crap? I dont thik so. Sometimes with a game a youtube video is more than enough to judge if you wil like it.

To be honest its the game I enjoyed the most out of the launch lineup. Im biased though because I do like adventure platformers and  have not played one in a while so i really enjoyed myself.

What about every Sony fan saying that  Super Mario 3d World doesn´t deserve the praise it´s getting, without even have played the game?

The topic is not specific about Nintendo fans or Nintendo games, but gaming in general. What do you gain in putting fanboys arguments to it? 

It deserves the priase for gameplay

But TLOU deserves praise for gameplay AND story telling AND online AND graphics AND animation

they cant say it, they should just shut up.
at most they can say that they arent interested in said game, thats it.
people need to learn that what you like is what you like and it doesnt make the other game worse.

and btw... you CANT say a game is better than the other even if you played both. you can say you prefer the other though. it's your OPINION.

I´m not downgrading The Last of Us, if you didn´t notice. And that´s not the point of my post.

What I´m arguing is why bringing the topic to a specific group of players (Nintendo fans) if the topic is about gamers in general. What he said can be said for any blind and immature fanboy who doesn´t comprehend that different people have different opinions and enjoy their games in different ways. Is it so hard to accept that ?
