I like this guy. He's a nintendo supporter like me trashing the current Nintendo systems

Is that a joke?

Vite has no 3rd party support and no interesting games.

No such thing as Vite, so I guess you're right. If you're talking about Vita, your first sentence is factually incorrect. As for the second, debatable.

There's no doubt that in terms of marketing power, 3ds has the better 3d support. As for the quality of the titles, it depends on the person. Multiplatform or not, I think Rayman games are a perfect fit for the Psvita.

Do you guys know what 3rd Party games coming out for 3DS this year that isn't a RPG/JRPG?

No, I don't, because it's January.

And that's the problem, but we do know some titles that coming to Vita this year.

You may, but I don't. Care to enlighten me? US only?

No it's not

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

It's all cleared up already. Viper1 explained that we can expect some announcements at the end of January.

His impression that the Vita is getting better third party support comes from watching an IGN video of 2014 Vita games that KylieDog rewarded with a "dear god...".

I watched that video. It was almost entirely indie games. I'm just wondering if NintendoSupporter<3 knows something neither I nor IGN knows about a whole stash of not-indie third-party games coming to the Vita this year.

I'm aware that the 3DS's line-up of non-indie third-party titles coming West this year looks pretty dry right now, but I doubt the Vita is faring any better.

Of course it has better third party support.

Doesn´t Vita has Shin Megami Tensei, Lego City Undercover, Monster Hunter 4, Puzzles and Dragons, Professor Layton, Ace Attorney, Sonic Lost World, Dragon Quest, Soul Hackers, Harvest Moon, Taiko no Tatsujin, Disney Magic Castle.

oh wait....

Sales-wise  3rd party companies are still making  the most money  on the 3DS. Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest and many others say hi.

Not true at all: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=176241&page=1

That's a Top 10 3rd party published games list for both 3DS and Vita

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

My fear about getting console ports is I don't think they will look good on the small screen. DKCR returns works fine, but in most cases it doesn't, like the 3DS Rayman Games.

Rayman Origins looks like ass on 3DS and also runs at half the framerate. Try the Vita version and you'll be blown away at the difference.

OT - 3rd party support is poor on both systems. Seems to depend what you prefer as to which system has the better 3rd party support but tbh the Western market has shunned handheld gaming in general favouring iOS and Android for portable gaming. Personally I'm prefering the 3rd party output on Vita, but I'm big on my racing games and they just don't really seem to exist on 3DS outside of Ridge Racer 3D and Mario Kart 7 while Vita has some decent games in a range of motorsport disciplines.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
