There about 20 units in this Fnac.

20 units in stock in one store in Brazil for a videogame is huge... they won't shell that in the next months... usually a console priced at R$2200 here sell like a unit per week or even less.

You, know the box at the glass front are empty display box, don´t you?  And good lord you didn´t do to Saraiva the Christmass week, or you would have died with the Xbox One "Christmass tree", close to 20 unsold XOnes.

And for the PS4 selling out yesterday... don´t see anything special, they had 2 this first saturday I went there.

That didn't match with what Fnac guys told me... PS4 get sold out days before Christmas.

BTW you know empty boxes are tied to consoles, no? No store receives 50 box and 20 consoles lol... it was always the same number.

I don´t like fighting for anedoctal evidences. But you call out a store that a go every weekend.

Yes, the 4 PS4 they received in November have sold-out day one. Then they receve another batch of no more than 5 the following week. And those last until Christmass. Last sunday they had PS4s, I asked, because there was no in display. 

On the other hand  they sold  40 Xbox Ones launch week, and preordered another 40 for the next week. After that they where resupplied every week. 2 or 3 consoles are sold durring the week and others 6 to 10 at weekends.  

+ I don´t know what are you talking about "empty box being tied to consoles". This make no sense.

Every empty box is tied to a console hardware... you say the box are empty and I agree but the consoles are in stock to be sold.

yeah, what has this console war turned people into where they need to enter a thread and post bogus reports of their store. Without knowing your exact location I cant tell you stick levels in your store but the three areas i checked around there i couldnt find a single store with ps4 and ample xb1 stock. You lied. really simple

Holly jesus, no shit? There is a guy that goes back and forth looking the inventory for how many unities they haev and can display on the front glass.

So, why those boxes at the launch day, and the day after,when the first batch was sould out until next week?
