They also almost caused the death of 'Naughty Dog' Jason and co almost stepped out of gaming after EA treated them badly.

As a Nintendo fanboy and a Wii U and 3ds owner, I have intentionally refused to buy any EA games for those devices due to their lack of support for Nintendo. The only time I've given EA any of my money recently was during sales where the cost was so low they hardly got anything from me. I hate EA because of their stance on Nintendo, a shame too because I really wanted Madden 25 and was interested in Mass Effect 3 for Wii U but FORGET THAT.

I have a lot of good memories that start with those logos.
The always online feature in SimCity is gonna be removed?? Now there's a chance I may buy it. If they only made cities bigger...
Anyway, OT, EA is in fucking shambles lately. It's fuck-up after fuck-up after fuck-up. The only games that don't seem to suffer are the FIFA games, I guess EA know that they're the ones keeping them afloat these days.

EA is only a part of it. The race for visual "perfection" which drives up development cost among other things are also a part. So I guess it could be better to say big Western Developers mindset is what is wrong with the industry right now.
I want them to get bankrupted.

The loss of some of them still hurts. EA is probably less evil than Activision, but it can actually do more damages because it's sloppy in its greed, up to spoil good franchises by milking them too hastily, and to utterly piss users off with excessive, impudent and clumsy attempts to get as much money as possible from them.
