Forums - Nintendo - Why is the UK shunning 3DS/WiiU harder than elsewhere? (Virtually absent from top 40)

Looking at the top 40 UK charts this week, Just Dance Wii at 21, Pokemon XY at 38 and 39 (soon to drop out). Are we going to see a top 40 soon with NO nintendo software first or third party in it? Would that be a first??

Wii sold 8.5m~ and DS sold 12m+ in the UK which is the best ever selling platform here. So what gives? Yes WiiU is doing bad everywhere else and 3DS isn't on fire anywhere except Japan but they're still doing better relatively.

What is it about the UK that isn't taking to Nintendo this gen?

Its a combination of things, but I would say that the wii left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.
