Amazon has been doing this with various games for a week now. RE:UC got labeled as discontinued...we all know it is not.

4) They messed up which system is discontinued... it's obviously the Wii, not the 360.

On a more serious note, it seems Microsoft is definitely up to something, but Amazon is not a trust source for sales trends, sellouts, and discontinued items, as Ben has pointed out.

well i guess losing in N.A. last month was a a major blow to MS and they decided they could no longer compete.

Serisouly though i think it was just a glitch.

Toshiba announced they'd drop HD-DVD in the near future so this could be a logical reaction to the fact that 'their' HD-console has lost... Maybe they are retreating from the console-business alltogether. They are making tons of losses (Microsoft)... And their goal, to stop Sony from getting any bigger in the media-business, has failed, because Blu-Ray has taken the place as succesor to DVD...

 

Just a theory. Maybe we're just seeing a slim X360 or something... I dunno!
