Toshiba announced they'd drop HD-DVD in the near future so this could be a logical reaction to the fact that 'their' HD-console has lost... Maybe they are retreating from the console-business alltogether. They are making tons of losses (Microsoft)... And their goal, to stop Sony from getting any bigger in the media-business, has failed, because Blu-Ray has taken the place as succesor to DVD...
Just a theory. Maybe we're just seeing a slim X360 or something... I dunno!
