Even that would look better on PS4, because the architecture is basically the same - just better in every aspect.

in my opinion after watching a bunch of comparison videos, bf4 looks better on xbox one than ps4. Idk if there will be more that will look better. i mean the ps3 was more powerful than 360 but we all know which had better looking multiplats

I agree that the difference between the PS3 Xbox 360 narrowed after a time for multi platform games that was due to the difficulty of programing for the PS3.

With the PS4 and Xbox One the difference seems to be power based and therefore as time goes on I would expect the gap to grow.

Looking at stuff like Titanfall tho which is going to be built around what the X1 has to offer in terms of the cloud, a later PS4 version of that would be heavily reworked.

You've being tricked by the sharpen effect of the X1. That's perfect for compressed video.

But when you'll compare on real native screen, the illusion will be shattered by the horrible grainy look and lower resolution of the 720p BF4 compared to the sharp and detailed 900p of the PS4.

Believe me. I was also duped by the sharpen effect of the X1 at first and believed every games looked better on every compressed downsampled screenshots or bad youtube videos.

How is it "technically impossible" if a developer optimizes a game for the XBOne and does a unoptimized port for the PS4 the XBOne version would look better. Your statement should have been similar to mine, it is impossible without a developer failing the PS4 platform.

No. The difference between 360 and PS3 was minimal, and PS3 has a more difficult architecture. One and PS4 have the same architecture while PS4 is substantially more powerfull (roughly 50% more GPU power, faster memory and by some recent reports it even can have a CPU with a higher clock).
