The movie industry is trying to save itself by marketing to China, especially with 3D, but it seems that was short lived. Last year Hollywood took a backseat again.

The same will happen with consoles. A cheap knock off with Chinese games will take off and leave the rest in the dust. Anyone remember Polystation, Treamcast? Compared to Sony they do not measure up, and it gets worse in asian markets. MS has no chance to outsell ps4 in china. Eitehr way, china will be irrelevant for a very long time for the console market.

You claim Sony takes the majority of console sales in small countries like Poland/Italy etc. If those small countries ARE relevant to you there is no doubt that China will be relevant. Chinese sales will dwarf these smaller countries. Or does sony need a majority in marketshare to be relevant in your eyes flaming?

1.) Chinese market is huge second biggest in the world. Not sure if videogames will sell we'll see. Chinese appreciate online games more than Japanese people it would seem. Titanfall could appeal? You're forgetting that mostly every popular japanese game devleoped for playstation is now on xbox. Final fantasy, metal gear solid etc ALL on xbox. Microsoft will probably release in China first and Xbox One will be cheaper then. Chinese hate japanese companies which will make sony struggle. In china it's really bad to the point some stores may refuse to sell playstation/nintendo products while having Xbox for sale

LOL no, Tales, ni no kuni, Persona, Shin Magami, and on and on and a bunch of asian games that never get localized are not nor never will be on xbox. China will be irrelevant for a long time, with their strict laws...No ttian fall won;t appeal to china, their online games are usually MMO's rpg's. Ps4 will be cheaper and actually has content that appeals to that market. MS has never done well in that market and that won;t change, it's too american focused.

Won't be easy for any of them to crack the market with the speed the mobile gaming market is growing.. Vita/3DS won't have a chance.. I don't even see them in the metro in Hong Kong anymore..
