This article kinda makes sense since they found out who the "secret" developer is through common sense. Let me know what you guys think....is it getting redundant that every time good WiiU and Nintendo (Nintendo a bigger company than Sony) news is released random articles like these pop out of nowhere?
Doomed Since 1889 feels they have figured out who the “anonymous” Wii Udeveloper was in Eurogamer’s latest clickbait. Head over to their site here to see what they think. I’m not buying it. The Criterion dev specifically says that looking at the clock speed alone on two very different chips is like comparing apples to oranges….while the anonymous dev leans HEAVILY on the clock speed as the reason it “sucks.”
He also said in another interview that future NFS by them would arrive simultaneously as other versions, which negates the argument by the anonymous guy that they decided not to put any more games on the system. Referring to the publisher wouldn’t work either since EA has said they are in fact making Wii U games. The anonymous guy would have mentioned the better documentation and support they got after the system launched if it had been Criterion, instead they spoke as though they released their game with no extra support….and then bailed.
THQ or 2K is my bet. People from THQ were the first to openly complain about the CPU and NBA 2K13 failed miserably sales-wise…and from what I understand it has some online issues as well.
One more big flag is that he was informed of the Nintendo reps being in thebuilding….after they had already visited once or twice. He is so low on the totem pole that he had no idea Nintendo would be coming in. They don’t just “pop in” to pitch their new hardware….things like this are planned long in advance.
The entire thing is anecdotal anyway since it is one guy’s experience. It makes no more sense than applying the supply of systems in the Target I work at….to the overall picture. One instance, one perspective.

This anonymous “source” could’ve planted those specific words from past articles just to distract people, that way people will just continue to push blame against EA without evidence, other than the fact it’s a quote from an old Criterion article available for anyone to read.
There’s also a possibility the “source” simply plagiarized past articles, and perform minor edits to falsely incriminate the Wii U, only to make it sound like they know what they’re talking about. After all most of the content in the article have been debunked by many people already, and a lot of the information sounds similarly to older claims which have been proven false once again.
