I'd like to explain my vitriol towards Nintendo. The only reason I bought the Gamecube (which was my only Nintendo console since the NES, I was a Sega fan after that) was because of RE exclusivity. That was the sole reason I bought it plus it was advertised as a more core system.

Now I just hate Nintendo because I feel like their games don't cater to my adult and mature senses. I like games with violence and sex. Mass Effect being a great example of a mature game for my tastes.

I honestly think people who are 15 or older should grow up and stop playing kiddie games. It's fine if you're a dad and all but a single guy in his 20's should NOT be playing on the Wii.

That and I think the Wii U is redundant. I think Nintendo should go 3rd party and release games so everyone can enjoy them on their favorite HD console rather than pay a hefty "tax" to enjoy Nintendo 1st party games (i.e buy their graphically inferior consoles).

To the mod: please don't ban me for these comments. The OP asked why we hate Nintendo, I'm just answering the call of the question.

Personally I don't hate Nintendo that much BUT I love to upset Nintendo fanboys, they overreact for the slightest criticism you make...

You're the one that should grow up if you are not capable of accepting that others have different tastes than you have yourself. The primary point of playing a game is to have fun, if COD is your mix then fine, others will concider Mario theirs. 

Because it's fun to kick things when they are down. You should try it!

that's not my argument though I don't disagree with what you say. though If I were to buy one of them I would wait for good software to come out but it seems most people have bought last gen ports so they can play them with improved graphics and ignoring the actual next gen games.

there has been consoles with amazing games that still didn't sell well. it's more the image that sells the console or products I should say. look at apple and their products. they sell because everybody wants one because it is cool even though you can get better products for a lot cheaper.

Its ironic because Im sure he has been to either Disney Land or Six Flags and saw everyone at all ages having fun.

I don't think people hate the wii u.

In particular there are some people who are critical of it and some people take offense to that, for some strange reason.

There are definitely some regular pompous ****heads who don't have any tact, but thus is the internet really. anonymity gives certain people the opportunity to vent/project without the repercutions of a bad reputation.

But there are also just trolls who sole objective is to antagonize because.....because.

Hmmm. When all is said a d done PS3 will be 15 to 10 million units behind the Wii. And let's not forget HD market was fragmented between the twins. Still not even close?
