Forums - Gaming Discussion - List Lazy/Unskilled developers/publishers here

1.) Ubisoft - Almost everthing Ubisoft has published has been a underporforming/glitchy mess

2.) Activision - Everything activision has put out there is shovelware except for the Call of Duty games, only because they use a 100 million budget for each one

3.) Almost every Japanese third party developer that wasn't smart enough to be successful on consoles that switched to the DS

4.) Lionhead - Fable 2 was glitchy (probably rushed by Microsoft and it was probably Peter's fault) Then there's Fable the Journey and Fable heros... They also haven't announced Fable Anniversary for Xbox One yet...

5.) Miyamoto and the rest of the Zelda developers. They went from making amazing games to making subpar games and HD re-releases of cartoons... It took them one year to make Majoras Mask then about 5 years to make Syward Sword....

6.) Polyphony Digital - Took these mothafuckas 6 years to come out with GT5 and most of the cars in the game were HD PS2 graphics without damage. Then these dudes release GT6 at the end of PS3 life cycle and cut support for GT5.

List of some of the best Devs:

1.) Rockstar

2.) Epic Games

3.)Naughty Dog

To be honest I agree Skyward sword didn't live up to the hype. It wasn't horrible but sure was not the masterpiece everyone was hoping for.But then came A link between worlds which redeemed everything.

And the thing with Majora's Mask uh.. ..er.

Why do people expect bug free open world games? There has never been one and there will never be one.

I dunno, I've played some that I haven't noticed a single plroblem in even one playthrough.  Infamous, Infamous 2, Arkham city, and Scarface the World is Yours.

There might be bugs and glitches, but these games are atleast better developed than the majority of the open world games, especially those released in the past few years.

fixed

It's made by the same developer, and I've experienced a bug in Arkham City.  I actually had both games listed and then deleted Arkham City from the list.  So no, not fixed, not in the context of the message, which is "I've played through some games that I haven't noticed a single problem in one playthrough."

Naughty Dog. they make good games, but they never do anything risky, they play it safe ALL the time.
they will never make a realy great game till the change that.

I'll give you Infamous though there was not much to do variety wise. Definitely not as complex as the likes of GTA or Skyrim.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Most devs aren't lazy.

I'm guessing he just means that Arkham Asylum isn't really an open world game with a big, contiguous overworld to explore. It's much more like a Metroidvania, with most of the game taking place indoors in narrow corridors and moderately sized rooms, and the few largish outdoor areas in the game being separated by doors (i.e. sneaky loading screens).

Site definitely needs a toastboy blocker lol.

Oh yeah.  You're right.  Then mark that game from the list.

How do you strikeout on the forum?
