Forums - Gaming Discussion - List Lazy/Unskilled developers/publishers here

Good list. I will add square enix. It took them so long to make / decide / start kingdom hearts 3 and FF vs XIII or FF XV.

1.) Ubisoft - Almost everthing Ubisoft has published has been a underporforming/glitchy mess

2.) Activision - Everything activision has put out there is shovelware except for the Call of Duty games, only because they use a 100 million budget for each one

3.) Almost every Japanese third party developer that wasn't smart enough to be successful on consoles that switched to the DS

4.) Lionhead - Fable 2 was glitchy (probably rushed by Microsoft and it was probably Peter's fault) Then there's Fable the Journey and Fable heros... They also haven't announced Fable Anniversary for Xbox One yet...

5.) Miyamoto and the rest of the Zelda developers. They went from making amazing games to making subpar games and HD re-releases of cartoons... It took them one year to make Majoras Mask then about 5 years to make Syward Sword....

6.) Polyphony Digital - Took these mothafuckas 6 years to come out with GT5 and most of the cars in the game were HD PS2 graphics without damage. Then these dudes release GT6 at the end of PS3 life cycle and cut support for GT5.

List of some of the best Devs:

1.) Rockstar

2.) Epic Games

3.)Naughty Dog

Agreed.

Aw hell naw! Have you seen GTA5? Well... omit the online part of it. and then there's that garage thing

My cars disappearing all the time made me quit the game for a while. I haven't played online yet though, when I tried it wasn't working.

Why do people expect bug free open world games? There has never been one and there will never be one.

It's in the very nature of the game. The more freedom a player has, the more bugs will be there because you can't predict everything a player will do or how the environment will react to all different factors.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I dunno, I've played some that I haven't noticed a single plroblem in even one playthrough.  Infamous, Infamous 2, Arkham Asylum, and Scarface the World is Yours.

There might be bugs and glitches, but these games are atleast better developed than the majority of the open world games, especially those released in the past few years.

fixed

Contradiction, the amount of work put into the Zelda remakes is FAR more work than I've seen any other company do. Atleast the Zelda remakes are overhauls. They could have just up-scaled them and called it a day right?
