Forums - Gaming - Prediction: Titanfall to sell 5 million on Xbox One I'm Dead Serious

Hmm I would link it to sales of Bioshock, a prominent early 360/PC game of 2007.

2.71 million sales lifetime. Given there is a X1, PC, and 360 version, I would say closer to 2 million, which is still pretty damn good.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Bioshock was a great game and not directed at the mainstream gaming community at all.
TItanfall is the brother of CoD and will probably be close to its fame just cause it is aimed at the EXACTLY same people.
It will sell good just cause of that and nothing else.Nothing to be proud of.

I highly doubt that.

Only if ever Xbox One owner buys one. Its higly improbable hat will happen tough. And looking at pre-orders and the fact that it got some bad media with the whole 6x6 MP thing I dont see it going much over 1 million first week.

Bottonline is, EA is gona loose a lot of money not having released this on the PS4 (not saying they wont profit, they will, but profits wont be as god as they couldve been), they took MS money tough X One would probably be highly dominant on USA where FPS sell really well and made the management decision of going exclusive, Im pretty sure theyre kicking themselves now seeing how well PS4 is doing.

if it sells 5mn+ on X1+X360+PC, MS will probably put the downpayment to make it permanently exclusive :).

Sorry but I think you are more dead than serious if you think so... but we'll see.

Not necessarily. COD people like the human on human action with human tech and shy away from sci-fi elements.

Five million lifetime for the biggest exclusive on a console near its launch? That seems like a pretty tame prediction to me. This game is THE thing people are talking about the Xbone for, aside from Halo 5. It better do 5 million lifetime. Xbone would have to start selling like Wii U did this past year for its biggest exclusive to not do something around 5 million.
