damn straight. This game will be seen as a Xbox One exclusive by many people and give people a reason to jump on board with the Xbox One

Titanfall is hardly a "next-gen" showcase with it's decidedly last gen 720p and 6v6 player MP.
Titanfall will probably look almost the same on 360 :)

You seriously expect the Xbox One not to sell over 5 million lifetime?? is already 60% there in 6 weeks... |
Catastrophic yield issues

That was eight years ago. Things change. People's buying habits change. Everyone didn't buy a PS4 or Xbone to play AC, FIFA, Battlefield or COD last month. Look at the software charts.
The xbone is an expensive console. Anyhow let's not argue over an unknown future.
I will stick to my prediction and we will let time decide. Good luck with your prediction.
Lifetime? Yeah maybe. Though I think the 360 version will hurt it more than people expect.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
This is basically first Gears of War numbers, sans the exclusivity and innovation Gears of War came with. Also, for instance, it took three games with AAA reviews and a huge userbase for Uncharted and GoW to get there. I guess Titanfall could bypass those requirements with enough hype and multiplayer appeal, but again, the increasing CoD numbers from 2009 on show the bulk of those who buy for online gameplay are casual late-adopters.
I don't think it can do it. Destiny will get a shot of, say, 5m on PS4, 3m on X1, and Titanfall should perhaps reach 3m on X1, but eeeh, the appeal of giant robots fighting should carry it much farther. Methinks.
It could manage that but first I have to see the X1 sell 5 million units.
What makes it more difficult is that it's an online only game which could potentially have a really short shelf life. If Titanfall 2 is announced a year after realease it could drop and you don't know how long they will support the servers.
Another difficulty is the stiff competition. It has to share its audience with the likes of BF, COD, Halo, Destiny and the Division. If it would release Q4 instead of Q1 I'd see no chance in it getting 5 million.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
5 million isn't out of the realm of possibility, though I'm very skeptical about it. There's a couple things that concern me...
1. How good will the game actually be. It could fail hard. If its a very well received game from both critics and gamers, then it will make your 5 million prediction seem more plausible.
2. How many Xbox One consoles will sell in the next couple years. This is important due to the type of game. I don't think it will have the sales of a Gears of War type game, mainly due to the lack of single player and a possible sequel, which I could see happen as early as 2016.
Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC
It won't reach 3 million and will have a meta score lower than 80.
