Depends on whether or not you'd classify Wolfenstein 3D as 'M-rated'... Even for the time, it wasn't very shocking, it's wasn't like I hadn't seen swastika's and Hitler images before. Anyway I probably played that first when I was like 6 years old.

Otherwise, it's Duke Nukem 3D when I was 8.

Neither game damaged me even though I was young...

The first M rated game i REMEMBER playing was Resident Evil and that was 1996 so i was 14

edit: Nope, it was infact Mortal Kombat and i was 11

My first console was a NES but I didn't actually get to play it. I mostly gamed on the PS1. I watched my father game since like I was 3 years old. He usually played Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I started gaming those hardcore mature games since I was 4 or 5. Tried Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy. Every PS1 game I could get I tried it.

It helped that PS1 was stupidly easy to pirate.

I couldn't remember which GTA I played but now I do. It was actually San Andreas and that came out in October 26, 2004. Now it makes more sense. I was either 4 or 5. I believe I was 4, but I'm not too certain.


But your profile says that you're 18? Unless that's false.


I used a fake age. I actually just turned 13 in October 11, 2013.

I'm one of those guys that played mature games before there were mature games.  Games like Shadowgate or Bionic Commando 

probably would have gotten mature ratings at the time.  I think I was around 11 or 12 when these games came out.  When games like Mortal Kombat came out, I was already "mature".

I think I beat everyone with 2, Duke Nukem 3D when it first came out.

I remember my Dad putting in the MS-DOS to boot it up, then just pressing a couple buttons to either make everything blow up, or to blow me up.

What great fun! Guess it explains a lot...
