Given the current games library, I sincerely doubt it. Unless they announce more games for Day 1 that appeal to Japanese audiences, it's highly unlikely it'll do that well. It'll still do leagues better than Xbone or WiiU lol...

Lifetime sales in Japan... PS2 sold 600k in the first day and more 380k in the second day... 980k lifetime in two days that is the first week too (the first weeks just had two day of sales).

I agree it will do better than X1, but there will be a great fight ith Wii U
