Forums - Sony - What can Sony do to take the US with Ps4??

Steal Halo.

I think the best situation would be if:

MS owns the US
Sony owns Europe
Nintendo owns Japan

It would create a stable base for each one of them and create healthy competition. I do think, and hope, MS will take the US and there is little Sony can do about it.

You missed the keynote about "The enviroment where Sony dominates is best for the industry".

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Make a ps4 with a skin of the USA flag and offer free burgers with each purchase with a balled eagle flying in the sky

Well, in my view, they proved themselves wrong during the PS2 era, considering the 7th generation far exceded the 6th and the games were far better :).

I loved my PS2, but can't disagree that my PS3 is even better... Lets see what will be the marketshare this gen and how much goodness we will see... and thank god there is Xbox for the ones that don't like PS, but I myself don't like any of the progress MS brougth (but won't enter in this kind of discussion)...

US is anyone terrain, Europe and Japan are Sony.

I do think Nintendo is the stronger brand in Japan, thanks in large part to DS/3DS. But it will be a battle, that´s for sure.

There will be blood... I still would like Sega to release a budget new console for their games...

Oooh yes! The Dreamcast actually was a budget console at 199$, despite it having great specs. To bad the PS2 launced a year later :P.

I do believe that if sony would have kept a grip if the US market during the 7th generation, albeit a small one, they would dominate that country this generation aswell.

Man, I think i gotta sit down and play some Dreamcast now...
