Forums - Sony - SONY has betrayed its userbase!

I'll be honest...

I was a big fan of PS1 => It introduced me to 32 bit & 3D Console Gaming
I disliked PS2 first => It killed my Dreamcast and the initial games were underwhelming
I disliked PS3 first => It was late, expensive, underwhelming, disappointing...
I loved PS4 => Almost everything about it except the launch lineup is perfect.

However, throughout the entire playstation generation, Sony was
-Consistent
-Persistent
-Supportive
-Gaming First
-Consumer Oriented

Sony has never betrayed their user base. I got to like both PS2 and PS3 after their revisions, second line up of games. Microsoft, on the other hand, always betrayed their user base!

- Dumped original Xbox after only 3 years.
- Dumped 360 in terms of first party support over 2 years ago.
- Dumped all of their other products & users as well.
- They dumped Windows XP, although 1/3 of PC Users still use XP (and almost all other programs still support it)
- They dumped Windows XP, the day Vista came with Direct X 10, which hardly anybody used
- They dumped Windows 7 and earlier with Direct X 11.2, just to promote Win 8
- They dumped Surface RT as only few people bought it (they did not develop any first party software for it other than the half baked bare minimum, the Arm version of Windows, not even a touch optimized Office!).

etc etc etc...

If there is one company, who betrays their user base, it's not Sony or Nintendo. It is MICROSOFT!

LOL you have no clue what you are talking about Fable Anniversary is coming out in less then a month and that is a first party game.  Also the 360 will still get tons of new online games even when there will be hardly any more physical games coming out.

they will monetize older games more effectively... you don't loose your status of "i play that game in the proper console months ago you lame late other gamer"

this way sony will be first to what will be common in the future...

PS4 will still be king for AAA cause local HW will always be better than cloud/stream...

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4

i dont consider a remake of a older game first party game support.  since the One came out MS first party has not released a single AAA for the 360 and have none planned that i know of,  where sony has released GT6, and still have some coming down the line for the ps3.

The 360 has been on the market a year longer then the PS3 of course its not going to receive the same amount of suport.  Also Fable Anniversary is more then a remake of the first game.  Again you are another person that has no clue what he is talking about.

fable anniversary is just another HD remake go to thier site they say it in multiple places, upgraded graphics and sound, along with including the lost chapters which i believe was on pc.

I can't believe it happened, but I now agree with...Nintendo. Console gaming as we know it is on the cusp of extinction. What's going to be there is going to be nothing but an Onlive like service. Sony will supply a little cheap box, if you want it, or your sub will let you game on your iPad.

Nintendo really is the last man standing IMO.

We love ps3, but love its games even more would play even on a pen.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

PS3 has no exclusives confirmed lol

i dont think so, the problem is still going to lie in the speed of the internet around the world, Sony said thier minimum speed is a 5mbs for PSNow, thats a decent speed for people in rural areas who can only get dsl or even worse for gaming Satelite internet.  on top of that the ISPs in the US are all pushing for Data Caps comcast use to have a 250gb one but as of now they have suspended it while they test out new ones. ATT is 250gb if i remember correctly, so streaming your games on top of your netflix hulu, amazon prime, or whatever else you stream and download will eat up your cap quickly.  I honeslty think PSNow will be for those who want to play older games from previous Gen systems and for the casual gamers who dont buy many games and just want access to some when they feel the need to play.

MAKING GAMES ON THE PS3 AVAILABLE TO MANY PLATFORMS SO MANY CAN ENJOY THE MASTERPIECES IS NO FUN! WTF I THOUGHT I WAS A PART OF THE VIP CLUB THAT ONLY PLAYED GOOD GAMES

WTF WERE THEY THINKING, OH THE HORROR

Enjoy? We will see? VIP club? Yeah, like 80 million other people, very VIP. Masterpieces? Perhaps. Only good games? We will see which games will be made available.

Btw, don't shout so disgustingly in forums.
