Wouldn't surprise me If the port is Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. To potentially tap into Nintendo large younger gaming audience who would have big interest in games which include Disney characters.

"Reimagining" worries me somewhat, though they apparently did quite well with Deus Ex

We can rule out Sega, who has a solid enough working relationship with Nintendo and few enough big games that would or could be re-imagined in the first place. Ditto Tecmo-Koei, who'd likely self-develop one of their endless remakes (if it were DoA5++ or something). It doesn't fit Bamco's M.O., though i wouldn't rule them out straight away. I can't think of anything Ubisoft or Activision would have to give. EA's out too.

Square Enix or Capcom are the likeliest candidates, with an outside dose of Take Two

So yes, 2 years old, then. I'm thinking either Transformers: Fall of Cybertron or Madagascar 3: The Videogame. Both seem legit options.

I hope like heck it is Minecraft- Why didn t Nintendo go all put to be the next console to get it? It is perfect for their system and target demographics- If the don t get it by next year I may have to switch consoles since my 8 year old would rather get minecreaft than any 10 other games on any console

I think Minecraft would bring in a lot of "fresh blood to the console as well- There are many young kids that love it and play the pocket or lite editions whose parents would be more likely to buy them Wii U 's to play it on than the other more mature and more expensive consoles -

IMO w out Minecraft (or some other market altering game), Nintendo is going to lose a large % of the younger market share they have come to expect in years past- between mobile gaming, Nintendo s failure (so far) w the Wi U and minecraft on other platforms, they have really left their core young market share open

That would be awesome. Perhaps both Shenmue 1 and 2 together. 1080p, 5.1 sound and none of those loading screens just seamless gameplay as you go in and out of buildings. Tweak the gameplay a bit with improved fighting and perhaps more of it.
