Huge pattern here with sega fans going xbox. When Sega died I went all out Sony. Though iloved playstation longbefore Sega leftthe market.

I never switch I just add to what I have which is always Nintendo and whatever second console has the games I want I buy

I've had PS1, PS2 and 360 besides Nintendo consoles

now though I can get most games I want on PC via steam for dirt cheap so if there isn't anything exclusive that I want on either Xbone or PS4 I won't really need to buy them.

I went from PS3 to Xbox 360 due to party chat and most of my friends having XBL.

Because Nintendo made a new console, I bought the new one.

Are we still supposed to comment in here is we never did? Because I for one am still a (technically) Playstation/MS virgin.

You did still get a new console if you got a Wii U.

I guess it works out afterall since I bought a Wii U a week ago. Now Nintendo is forever in my debt.

Well, i played a lot of SNES and Megadrive at my friends house, but they were never mine.

5th gen - Suddenly, my grandmother bought a N64 to let me, my brother and our cousin play at her house. It was like heaven. Ocarina of Time, Majora's, M64, Star Fox, Goldeneye, Smash bros, Mario Kart, Mario Party 2, Pokemon Stadium. Good old times.

6th gen - All my friends got the PS2, and all of them insisted it was so much cooler and better than GameCube. I would've picked the PS2 to be honest, but i never had the money to any of the consoles. During this gen most of my gaming were MMORPGs (Tibia, UO, EVERQUEST, Ragnarok, Dofus) and Dota.

7th gen - Finally at the mid of the gen i was capable of buying my own things by my self, so i got the PS3, because i always wanted a PS2, but never had one.

8th gen - To be honest, when i look at my PS3 collection all i think is that 90% of my games could be played on my PC for smaller prices than i payed. I decided to choose the next one based solely in exclusives. I also felt a little empty of fun too, can't explain why.

And suddenly it was there, forgotten, alone.... doomed.
In my book, that company always had the best exclusives, the best local multiplayer. People kept saying it didn't had games, but it had backward compatibility, so i could try all great games it had on the previous gen. The control was really odd, but if i don't like it i could pick up a Pro controller.

And that's how i became a really happy and proud Wii U owner.
