None of those studios are known or are very impressive. Killer Instinct wasn't even made by Rare. Just shows you how far Microsofts faith in them goes. Stop listing unproven studios. I am only siding with Sony because they are the safer bet when it comes to game development and their creativity on an administrative level vastly outpaces Microsoft. As it stands right now that is just a fact. Microsoft is better at acquiring third party games and adding them to their exclusive ranks to patch up what they lack. 

Lol so which is it.. should they invest in growing their own stable of studios or not? Seems petty to criticize them for "buying games" (which is something all 3 companies do anyway) but then when given a list of just some of their internal studios, dismissing them as unknown or not "very impressive". I mean, Naughty Dog started out with some shitty games and yet Sony trusted them with Crash Bandicoot. Guerrilla Games hadn't made any games with great praise and Sony stuck with them, I am sure you would consider them a big member of Sony's studio stable. Sony paid thatgamecompany, a studio with 0 games under their belt IIRC, for 3 exclusive games and they ended up being what? Flower, Journey, and Flow? Quantic Dream, Ready at Dawn, Ninja Theory, Sucker Punch, Team Ico, Evolution Studios, the list could go on regarding "unknown" or "not very impressive" studios Sony has either started or contracted with for exclusive games and I think in most of those cases you would agree it bolstered their lineup of developers and they released some quality games.

So congrats, they're doing what you have been wanting them to do. Maybe give them some credit or at worst take a wait and see approach instead of continuing to criticize.


My point is don't boast about what isn't top notch or hasn't even started yet.

It's ok, I didn't expect you to stop criticizing. It's like the 180 on all the Xbone "bad stuff", first you were griping because it was there and you wanted it gone, then when it was gone you started griping that it was there at all in the first place.


If it isn't so then why do they need the first game exclusivity of Titanfall? Zampella confirmed that microsoft closed the deal to have the first game be exclusive on Twitter to the Xbone on next gen consoles. It wont last as it never does. Its even worse to do it this gen than last gen because all the third party exclusives dry up because you're both competing rather than one console having a eight million console lead on the other.

I don't think it's right not to commend MS on them bolstering up their first party. Sure they are unproven and I don't think most of them will have any big effect on console sales anytime soon but you have to start somewhere. Lets just hope there are a few jems among them and that MS lets them do what they need to.

You should know by now Stage will never see MS in the positive light.  Sony never make  mistakes in his eyes.  I believe MS is trying to build up their first party just like Sony and they have hired a lot of veteran talent.  It should be interesting to see how these studios games come together and I hope we see some good stuff from both companies.

Of course the more great games the Xbox One has the better for it's platform. I'm sure some of the reviews will be like 'skip TitanFall on the 360, and just go PC or Xbox One. '

Much now depends on reviews and the public buzz about the game. I could see it tying with TitanFall then pushing easily with the other games it has coming.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Price matters heavly in the US, extra 100 and even more if you want batteries that recharge is a big deal to a huge chunk of the population.

Play and charge kits are available the same as 360. 

Xbox One is the best selling Xbox ever with less contries and the highest price tag. Personally I think you underestimate FPS games in the US. Its only my opinion. Ill be either right or wrong.


Best Xbox means little if some one else is kicking your ass, lol highest price didnt the PS3 supporters early on say the same... how do you think the Xbots anwserd that.

I know they are and they cost extra, incresing Xs price even more compared to PS4.  I know FPS is important, but price is even more.

Halo will not out do a $100 difference.
