What? People won't stop talking about X, and I have no problem with that. And there's been plenty of discussion about Bayonetta 2.

Maybe people would actually talk about Yarn Yoshi or SMTxFE if they had been mentioned or shown once by Nintendo in the last year.

Do you have a copy of the release schedule that gets relased at the end of January during their Investor Relations meeting?  I'd really like to see it.

Well Smash and Mario kart are clearly the biggest franchises from nintendo.
Only those games could possibly save the Wii U as mainstream titles thus people are only talking about them.

If one is informed a bit more there are also games like X, Yoshi (as you said), Bayonetta 2, Some Indie games etc. to mention.

But it's true that the console doesn't have much going on for itself at the moment.

Not really.

1) DK:TF, Smash and MK are supposed to be the Wii U's savior, so they're going to get a lot of attention on a site about sales.

2) We have release dates or strong indications on when those games will release, and more importantly, Nintendo is actually giving us constant information on them. X, Bayo 2, SMT x FE, Zelda U et. al we heard about them one time and nothing more. It's hard to talk about that same old trailer that we saw a year ago.

I've heard X mentioned a lot more than I have Mario Kart 8, maybe it's because I don't pay attention to anything in life, but people seem to be much more excited about it.

Smash is a widely loved Nintendo franchise. I know people who hate Nintendo games but love Smash. It's probably their most mainstream title, so of course it's going to be talked about.

Nintendo acts like Yarn Yoshi wasn't announced, we haven't even seen it since January of last year, so until we see more we shouldn't talk about it. Same goes for SMT x FE (We didn't even see gameplay)

I think MK8, Smash Bros Wii U, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Yarn Yoshi, DKC Tropical Freeze and X will be out this year, and they're gonna make more announcements soon I guess. Anyways, those 7 games are gonna be top notch and exclusives. PS4 and Xbone don't have games announced, just a couple, most of them are Multiplat... So I guess the Wii U has an advantage actually.
