Forums - Nintendo - Is it sad that Smash wii u and Kart U are the only games anyone is talking about? wiiu ofcourse!!!

Not surprised, but once again incredibly incorrect.

Mario Kart and Smash Bros. are the biggest games IN GENERAL that gamers (not just Nintendo fans) are talking about, because they're both huge franchises, both games look great (from what little we've seen), and they're two of the biggest games coming out in 2014 on ANY console.

But that hardly means they're "the only Wii U games anyone is talking about". Not by a longshot.

There is an awful lot of hype for X, and has been since it's E3 footage was shown ages ago. It will be an epic game, and it's something most rpg fans, regardless of console preference, are talking about.

A similar statement could be made for SMT x Fire Emblem, two beloved rpg series that are getting an unexpected crossover, save for the fact that we've as yet been shown nothing of the game itself, not even a pic. But regardless, when it does launch, it'll also be a big deal to rpg fans.

Yarn Yoshi isn't a "big deal", per say, but Good-Feel has proven themselves capable of making great old school platformer games, with their own charm and style, and Yarn Yoshi looks to be following that mold. After Wario Land and Kirby, I'm really looking forward to this one.

Whether or not haters and angry fanboys will admit it, there is still a lot of interest in Bayonetta 2 and how it will turn out. It was a big enough deal for people to throw a shit-fit when it was announced as a Wii U exclusive, and it'll be one of the best exclusives of 2014, guaranteed.

Hyrule Warriors, if done right, could be another really solid exclusive. As for multi-console releases, three to watch out for would be Ubisoft's Child of Light, Watch_Dogs (which they claim to be doing some neat things with the Gamepad for), and Project Cars.

But honestly, why does the OP feel the need to continuously keep pumping out these different variations on "Wii U is Doomed" threads. I get that people reply, and I get that you're more than likely just trying to get a rise out of people (there's another good word for that), but seriously. All of this kind of nonsense is really premature. 2014 is going to be a great year for gaming all around, and Wii U is no exception.
