DerNebel said: Kinda related I guess, what about the dedicated servers? I remember that prior to launch alot of Xbox fans used these as vital advantage the X1 has over the PS4, but now I'm not hearing anything about it. How is it, are you noticing any difference in online play compared to the 360? |
Its an odd one. I havent really played much fast paced online shooters etc yet on Xbox One. Im waiting for Halo 5. Will porbably pick up BF4 soon. ( Cant stand COD ). Forza 5 is smooth as butter online though.
Theres also 2 Servers allocated to every Xbox One activated. Its these that are used for Cloud Processing. In a few years I expect developers to be putting more intensive tasks on them as Broadband gets faster and more reliable. I already have 50 mb Broadband, with an average connection of 42.7mb. And have only been without the internet for a total of 2 weeks in 4 years.
So I cant wait for more of my Xbox One CPU to be freed up with devs using more cloud.
