It was announced today (by TMZ) that James Avery had passed.

I can't say much about him since everybody who saw the fresh prince knows him as Phillip "Uncle Phil" Banks. Also he was known as Shredder from the 87 TNMT series.

Had no idea he was Shredder! When I read the title, I thought it was Kevin Nash! Still, he seemed like a jolly enough guy. I loved the character he portrayed on Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
