The 1 and 2 mil milestones covered the US and Europe luanches, i dont expect them to announce every million as it happens. Next announcement should be when they give their financials.

I think a annoucement of 3mi just after Christmass would be a great PR move. And Sony were never shy in bosting their good fortune. They annouced the 1mi pre-orders and the 1,5mi pre-orders.

Other thing is that the "Console Wars" has cooled in the media. We here are the only ones that seems to care. Even NeoGaf has been quite.

That is because I think a strong milestone like 3 and a half million just after Christmass would be very apealing. I suppose 3,5mi are the largest and fasted sales in history. And then they would have the satisfaction of MS not saing a word for more than one month, may be nothing until Titanfall.

That´s it.

Indeed, that the Xone and PS4 software have dropped so low on the top seller list is disturbing. The consoles themselves are selling well enough, so why aren't the games? 


The fact that New Super Luigi U is tracking higher than every PSOne game is both amusing and worrying at the same time.

Never expected the new hardware bundles to make THAT much of a difference, LOL.

Between this and how NPD stated that software was actually down last month despite the new consoles, I'm getting a bit worried. There's no way digital sales alone can account for this when it comes to $60 titles.

forgot the 360, those numbers are 5K higher than the WiiU, and we know how bad the WiiU has been selling in EU. i know Xbox one has launched in fewer countries, but it has the highest price tag and is releasing late compared to the PS4. the PS4 outsold the Xbox One 4:1 in EU. again, if those numbers are true, then they are horrid for microsoft. also, take into consideration that the PS4 is sold out while the xbox one is not.

There's no official bundle in the US for PS4, at least not at Best Buy.

Well I don't speak for other PS4 gamers, but I've only bought Knack since launch. So maybe there's a trend emerging there? Neither PS4 or X1 have the neccessary libraries to push sales until more gets released in Q1 2014. The Wii U has the library with more variety and hardware bundles, simple as that!
