more important question is how much it will sell in a poor week.
20-30k for wii U this year was very low.
After mario kart, i believe it wont be lower than 60k per week.

It all depends how it is marketed too. If they put a copy to play in every store and have online ads and tv commercials then the thing is going to sell like crazy. If they just release it then not so much.

Plus, 3rd party titles will cover both ps4/ps3/Vita/360 & XB1. All of which will not come to the Wii-U. I say we will not see many 100k weeks for the Wii-U in 2014. sorry. |
He said Nintendo gamers only lol.
Also you can't use the word "both" and rattle of like 5 consoles.
Finally you really are grouping VITA in that list?
Nintendo better have a banner year because they will be third very soon. They need to sell very well and I think Smash bros might be the game to save them.
its funny because it could be above 100k and the numbers will still be pathetic compared to wii

It would only need about 33K per region during a week next year.
Mario Kart 8 release should definitely do it.
Super Smash Bros 4 will be a bit deflated because of the 3DS version but that should push it above 100K too.
a price cut would do it too I'd think.

Well then should you be in here? *knee slap* :D
j/k
Well if Nintendo doesn't have a 100K week by then, there may not be a Black Friday 2014 :p
Not that I think it will happen, but if Nintendo sales can't hit 100K for Wii Fit U, Smash Bros U, Donkey Kong Country Returns, or Mario Kart 8, they really need to go back to the drawing board.

Actually, it took the true breaking of the drought, a price cut, and Nintendo actually advertising the thing (plus a bit of help from the holidays) to make it happen.
None of those three factors are going anywhere, now - the price isn't going back up, Nintendo isn't going to stop advertising the system, and the drought has been properly broken. Mario 3D World is just one of the games involved in breaking the drought - in Japan, for instance, Wii Party U has been a phenomenon.
